The 20 Best Spicy Romance Books You Will Ever Read
One of my favorite pastimes is reading erotica, smut, or spicy romance. Erotica has been one of my all-time book genres since middle school, and it’s only become even more of my favorite book genre as I’ve become older. One of my favorite things that came out of the pandemic is the rise of BookTok, which has introduced me to many indie authors and a community of women who enjoy spicy book reads as much as I do.
However, there are so many books out there that it’s tough to know which books to add to your TBR (to-be-read list) or which ones are worth the hype. Whether you’re new to the erotic romance genre or a seasoned smut slut, like yours truly, seeking new recommendations, you’ve stumbled across the perfect blog that will help you explore must-read smutty books that I promise will ignite your imagination, stir your emotions, and get you wet, wet, and super turned on.
If you would rather watch my YouTube video for book recommendations, then check out my Book Recommendations Tag Video; or if your preference is reading romance book reviews, then keep scrolling because here are some popular erotic romance books that will provide you with the hottest adventure in between the sheets of a good, hot read.
A Book I Tell People Is My Favorite Erotic Read
I had difficulty choosing between all my favorites for this one, but I had to choose The Ritual by Shantel Tessier.
Ryat Archer and his little one, as he likes to call her, Blakely Anderson. I remember seeing the cover and being like Ooo, this looks super interesting. I think it was in one of the smutty Facebook groups I’m in, and then I started reading it in the evening. I looked up, and it was like 4 am, and I had read the entire book in one setting.
Then, it stuck in my head, so I had to read it a second and third time. My husband thinks I’m crazy for re-reading and watching my fave shows, but shit hits differently when you read it multiple times cause you find details you missed the first time.
And now, I’ll go back and read my favorite spicy scenes occasionally.
I’ve read a few books by Shantel Tessier, and she’s a phenomenal writer, but The Ritual has been my favorite. Sabotage is set in this universe, and it’s a really smutty read. I needed my B.O.B. and husband on standby for how hot that book was, but the story plot wasn’t really there. I need to read The Sinner and The Sacrifice, as well. Those are set in this universe.
A quick synopsis of the ritual is that it’s a dark college romance that deals with a secret society that involves this elitist group of men called the Lords. They have to be abstinent until their senior year of college because they have to show how dedicated they are to the organization, and their senior year, they get to choose a Chosen One, which is like their fuck buddy and maybe girlfriend depending on how they choose to form that bond.
This book is a fast burn; I think the spice has begun by chapter three. So, if you’re an individual that likes her dick by the 1st 50 pages, then this is for you. Definitely check the trigger warnings. It deals with some light bondage, breath play, consensual abduction and ravage fantasies, and some light dominant/submissive BDSM elements. Your girl right here loved every damn moment of it.
I rated it five stars, and it’s just a hot, sexy read; I think many can enjoy it.
A Spicy Romance Book That’s My Guilty Pleasure
I’m just like the whole spicy genre. It is a pleasure that I, Lala, a sexual health educator, relationship & sex coach, and an erotica writer and podcaster, feel absolutely no guilt about reading. I love my one-handed reads over here, let me tell you!
The Bully by Sophie Lark. I am here to tell you that I am a huge Sophie Lark fan. I am a member of her Patreon because I love her so much. She’s such a damn good writer, I’d read her damn grocery list, and it’d probably be fire.
So, the bully is part of an interconnected series called The Kingmakers, which is like a College for Criminals. It’s like Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, but make it Mafia; that’s how Sophie Lark describes it. I loved the Kingmakers Series because it’s a next-generation spin-off of the Brutal Birthright series, which blew her career the fuck up thanks to Tik Tok.
The Bully is a dark mafia bully college romance that falls into an enemies-to-lovers trope. So, if you love a good enemies-to-lovers trope, you’ll love this book. Cat the FMC is a sweet, quiet, and shy girl who’s practically afraid of her shadow and is not meant for the mafia world.
Dean Yenin is out to torture this poor girl because he knows one of her dirtiest secrets. Dean appears in the first book of this series, and I hate him, and I hated his Russian Bratva family in the brutal Birthright series, but, baby, if you like an anti-hero redeeming arc, then this story will tug at your heartstrings. I hated Dean, and Cat’s character was whiny, annoying, and boring in the second book. I was going to skip this book in the series, and I’m so glad I didn’t because they were my utmost favorite couple, and I want more of their story.
Also, this is a 5-star read recommendation for you all.
This is my guilty pleasure because the anal scene in this book gives my kitty all the butterflies down south. You’ll love their entire dynamic in and out of the spice scenes. Once again, be sure to read the trigger warnings. This book has light BDSM elements, impact play, orgasm control, and edging.
Not to give too much away, your girl loves a good collaring scene. So that also made this the first book to pop into my head as a guilty pleasure read.
A Spicy Romance Book That Everyone Loves But I Don’t
Okay, I will start this one with a few disclaimers. As a writer, content creator, and someone who understands the blood, sweat, and tears that go into creating art, I am not coming here to bash anyone’s literary work.
Next, this author is seen as problematic because she’s apparently made racist, homophobic, and other terrible statements, which I wouldn’t support her anyway now, knowing that’s what everyone claims about her.
However, I am not saying I dislike this popular book because of those things that many have an issue with. This book just wasn’t my thing, and I didn’t like it. I thought it was boring, the character development was terrible, and the plot was dumb. I DNF’d it three times and skimmed it before actually reading it.
It’s the Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori. This book is hot garbage, and it’s an overhyped book on BookTok that I don’t understand why people love it.
At first, I didn’t think I liked it because I’m not sure, to be honest, how I feel about smutty books that are slow burns not to say that a book needs spice to be great, even within romance, but if I’m going in thinking the sex is going to be burning up the pages then if it’s a slow burn your story has to be a damn good read. If you’re writing a slow-burn, spicy romance book, it needs to have a phenomenal storyline, great characters, and a book I can finish and tell people it was a great romance read that just happened to have sex.
The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori was none of those things. Without giving anything away, I’m just going to say the FMC and MMC don’t get together until like the last maybe sixty pages of the book, and when they do, the anticipated spice between them is mediocre.
Also, the couple doesn’t mesh well throughout the book, so the banter isn’t that great. Then, there are moments in the story that don’t make sense for the development of the characters based on how she sets the tone for their personalities.
Lastly, Elena, the FMC, does something that is entirely out of character before the book starts that has her dad upset at her. Ace, the MMC, is like a pain-in-the-ass business partner of her dad’s in this mafia world that he doesn’t like, and he wants to punish his daughter for her transgressions. So, it makes no sense why he didn’t give her to him at the story's jump.
The Sweetest Oblivion is the first book in the Made Book Series. It’s a dark mafia romance read, and I don’t recommend it. But, hey, if what I said is your thing, then to each is their own.
A Spicy Romance Book That I Read The Fastest
The Breathless Trilogy by Maya Banks. I read these three books in maybe two and a half days. These books are about 350 to 420 pages each. I hope that puts into perspective how good this series is that I couldn’t even put it down.
Also, this isn’t even a new book series, too. It was written back in 2013, and I randomly discovered it during the pandemic. I was reading it all while I was at work. Let me tell you, work did not get done that day, and I don’t care in the slightest.
The Breathless Trilogy are standalone interconnected books about billionaire men that run a hotel empire together. The first book is the brother’s best friend trope, the second is the rags-to-riches, and the third is the Instant Love or Love At First Sight Trope. They’re all age-gap romances that have dark romance and light BDSM elements.
My favorite is the second book, Fever, which is Jace and Bethany’s story, and I loved every single bit of it. I enjoyed this series so much and was super sad when it was finished. Like, I need more of it. This made me devour multiple books Maya Banks wrote, like the Sweet Series, which is another excellent, sexy read.
I give this series four stars as a whole. But I love it, and I encourage everyone to read it.
A Spicy Romance Book That Deserves More Hype
This was a no-brainer for me. I don’t even know how I stumbled across this series. I honestly think it was a recommendation that my Kindle gave me. I was like, hmm. I like a good fairytale retelling. So why not?
And I’ll be damned. After reading the Cinderella Trilogy by K Webster, I was a fucking wreck for days. Well, shit, I didn’t think that it’d be all I could literally think about for days. I dreamed vividly of this book and thought I lived in Winston Constantine and Ash Elliot’s world.
So, here's a brief overview: Winston Constantine is a typical billionaire alpha hole who is the heir and current CEO of the Constantine Empire, and the Constantine family has more money than God. He’s this cold-hearted jackass that likes to be used as a paypig.
He meets this eighteen years old cleaner of his office building, and he introduces her to all types of kinky shit. It’s a dark romance with light BDSM elements, it deals with degradation and humiliation kinks, and it’s an age-gap romance.
Also, it follows Ash and Winston’s love story throughout the entire trilogy, so you have to read it in order. It’s dark and kinky as shit. I loved it, and if you’re a fast-burn smut-loving slut that enjoys her dick in the first few pages, I highly recommend it. He’s an obsessive, possessive alpha hole, but their love story is well-written. The characters are easy to love and hate.
This book questions the feminist in me, but it’s a damn good read. I wish more people talked about it because K Webster deserves her flowers, but no one ever brings this book up, and it gives you all the feels. You’ll feel the butterflies from your heart to your clit. I mean, I’m just saying.
A Popular Spicy Book That Is Becoming A Movie Or TV Show
It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey is supposedly becoming a movie.
This makes total sense because it’s an excellent rom-com storyline that deals with a grumpy MMC and a sunshine FMC.
It’s a Fun, cute, light-hearted read. This is a good summer beach, or airplane read while traveling. I give the book four stars. The second book, her sister’s story, Hook, Line, and Sinker, by Tessa Bailey, was even better and a definite 5-star read, hands down. Piper and Brendan in It Happened One Summer will make you laugh. It’s spicy but not overly spicy. It’s probably a 2.5 on my spicy-o-meter. It’s a moderate burn book and would make a great movie.
Piper is an It Girl that lands herself in a fisherman's town in bumfuck nowhere, she meets a blue-collar fisherman, and they go from enemies to lovers. In my mind, I see Brendan, played by Alex Pettyfer, who Played in Endless Love, and Piper, played by Sophie Turner from Game Of Thrones. Then, I can see Fox, played by Liam Hemsworth from Hunger Games, and Hannah, Piper’s younger sister, played by Lily Rhinehart from Riverdale.
An Erotic Romance Book I Re-Read The Most
I am a MF-ing Sophie Lark STAN, and this was a BookTok made me read it book. I saw a quote about the strawberry scene by a popular BookToker, so the book that I have re-read the most is Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark.
This was my first book by Mrs. Lark, and it was worth the hype and then some. I loved it so much. I still go back and read it now. Like, I’ve highlighted so many of the lines in that book for annotations that I need to dunk the whole thing in a bucket of highlighter ink cause Callum and Aida’s banter and sex scenes are off the charts. It’s the first book of the dark mafia romance Brutal Birthright Series. It’s an arranged marriage, Age Gap, enemies-to-lovers, and mafia romance. I love Aida so much, and her shenanigans with Callum from start to finish are an absolute hoot to read.
I highly recommend the entire series. You will not be stirred wrong if you read any of Sophie Lark’s books.
A Spicy Book From A Genre I Don’t Really Read
The Viscount Who Loved Me By Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton Series. I don’t read a lot of Historical Fiction or Historical Romance. While I enjoy the subgenre of erotica or contemporary romance, I don’t actively seek this category out.
The Viscount Who Loved Me was my all-time favorite Bridgerton book. I know a lot of people hated it. But I loved Kate and Anthony. I thought the banter between them was great; I loved how they were enemies to lovers. I thought they were two strong characters in the series that were perfect for each other.
I was pissed off at the Netflix version of it and that they took out all of the spicy scenes and made the storyline super insane with two sisters fighting over the same man. I don’t think that was necessary. There are other books in the series that have sexier scenes, so I’m curious what they will do about those. Especially since people loved The Duke & I because of all the sex in the first season.
The Spicy Romance Book That Deserves All The Hype It Gets
So, this book sat on my TBR for a good year, and I couldn’t get on TikTok without seeing a BookToker discuss this series.
I’ve been burned by books that people rave about on TikTok, and they’ve been absolute trash, but this series was worth all the hype it gets more than any book I’ve seen on BookTok. They were spot on about this book, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.
The Book is book number one of Twisted Love by Ana Huang of the Twisted Series.
I loved this book so much. I didn’t skim it. I read the entire book in a day, and there were multiple twists. She foreshadows well, so you see two of the three twists coming. One of the twists floored me, and I’m not easily shocked.
Ava is a great FMC, and Alex has a lot of character growth in the book. I didn’t expect it to be as dark as it is. The spice in the book will give you butterflies. Alex will become an instant book boyfriend for you. It’s a College Romance, Interracial Romance, and Dark Romance. It plays into the two tropes of Brother’s Best Friend and Grumpy and Sunshine. I love her spin on grumpy and sunshine because it’s how the FMC and MMC cope with the trope they experience.
In my opinion, this book is definitely like a six-star read. I think everyone should read the Twisted series.
An Erotic Book You Recommend When Ask To Give A Recommendation
I have so many book recommendations, but often, when people think about erotica or spicy romance books, they automatically have a strong opinion of Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James. That trilogy really made erotica and spicy books boom in the 2010s, and I feel like it brought light to how many women love smutty reads.
So, I met many people who wanted to read more spicy books, but I loved or hated Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m not a huge fan of Fifty Shades of Grey. I didn’t think it was a well-written series, and I found Ana’s character super annoying. The series is better from Christian’s perspective, which proves why authors should always write dual POV books.
But, a series that came out around that same time with a similar premise is the Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day.
It’s a Billionaire Romance, Dominant Alpha hole, has BDSM Elements, and a lot of conflict and screwing. It also deals with trauma healing through love. The characters are well-developed, and the storyline is extremely strong. I definitely feel like this book series deserved the popularity, praise, and franchise instead of Fifty Shades of Grey.
You’ll enjoy Eva and Gideon’s love story. I say give it a read if you haven’t already.
A Spicy Book That Has Your Favorite Characters
If you have read and thoroughly enjoyed the Kingmakers Series by Sophie Lark. Then, I’d suggest you read the Featherstone Academy by KC Kean. I absolutely loved this series. She deserves more hype than what she gets. She writes Why Choose Romance or Reverse Harem Romances that are fucking chef kisses. Featherstone Academy is a book with my favorite characters because KC Kean writes the best FMCs. They’re always badass women who can accept love but maintain their independence, and the men in these reverse harems worship these women.
Also, I love that KC Kean always writes her books where the FMC always has a strong, healthy female best-friend relationship. I wish I could be besties with Luna and Jessica. They’re both absolutely amazing women, and I love them. While I loved Luna’s alphaholes, I absolutely fell in love with Jessica’s reverse harem because those men fell first and fell the hardest.
Also, you’ll love Featherstone Academy if you enjoyed the Kingmakers series because it’s about college-age individuals who go to the academy to learn how to rule the underworld and be masters of organized crime groups. It’s not mafia, which gives it an interesting twist because it’s still organized crime. She has a new book in this world that I needed to read, which is Redemption, about Luna’s nemesis, Wren.
A Spicy Romance Book I Wish I Could Live In
You guys people sleep on A.E. Valdez, but I love her books so much. She’s another author, I STAN. She writes phenomenal romances, especially about people of color. The first book I read by her was A Worthy Love. This book had me in my feeling.
I was laughing, crying, and I hated for the book to end.
I would love to live in this book because I love their friend circle. I would fit right into it. Asher is phenomenal. He’s another guy that will be a book boyfriend for you. I still get chills when I think about how incredibly thoughtful, amazing, and loving Asher is to Marisa. Everyone deserves someone to love them like Asher loves Marisa. If you read this book, you need to make a list of what you want in a man based off of Asher Blaine, then manifest that shit.
Because he is legitimately, hands down, a person everyone deserves in their corner, whether as a friend or a lover. Marisa is a great FMC with a lot of personal growth in the story, and you root for her to get an HEA. Also, I love this book cover. I think it’s just so pretty. I feel like the I’m over this BS look on the girl’s face is relatable. It’s like Marisa, sis, we’ve all been there.
But I love their strong friendships as a group and as Asher’s homeboys and Marisa’s besties. We all need tight-knit friend groups like theirs, especially as adults. This book has an almost 5-star rating on GoodReads and deserves it.
So, definitely go check this book out. You won’t be able to put it down.
A Spicy Romance Book I Thought I Would Hate But Ended Up Loving
Cora Reilly is a huge Mafia Romance author. That’s like her thing. She only writes Mafia Romance books. She has a huge cult following, and I actually found her books through Pinterest. I was legitimately scrolling through Pinterest, and it kept popping up with book fan art of books I’d might want to read.
So, I saw bound by honor and liked the cover, and the book synopsis piqued my curiosity. And I absolutely hated the book. It was a slow burn with a boring plot that was basically about the girl losing her virginity. It was too much. But like you, I fell in love with Aria and Luca Vitiello, and after a few attempts, I finished it after DNF-ing and skimming it.
Then, I learned this woman had created an entire universe. So, I skimmed all the books and decided that the characters are always great while the plots are debatable, and their slow burns with okay sex scenes. So, I was like, I’ll listen to them.
I read the first book of the Camorra Chronicles and hated it. But, the second book and the fourth book are 5-star reads. Outside of the first book, the Camorra Chronicles spin-off is phenomenal. But Twisted Emotions and Twisted Bonds, which are Kiara and Nino Falcone’s love story, are two of the best books I’ve listened to all year.
Nino is on the autism spectrum, and Kiara is a sweet woman who is too good for this world. They’re both tortured souls; you’ll love them to death. It’s an arranged marriage, dark mafia romance, and you’ll love it.
So, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed these two books, and I can’t wait to read their kid's stories.
A Spicy Romance Book That Will Make You Ugly Cry
I’m not even really a crier, but there are so many books out there that have brought me to tears because they’re so damn relatable. This is one of the books on my list that I woke my husband in the middle of the night to talk about because it had me in my feels, and this man probably thinks I’m crazy.
But Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan. Anytime homeboy, August West, said I’d play you at 5 to Iris. I lost my shit. That was probably one of the sweetest lines I’ve ever heard in my life. Also, read the trigger warnings. I was not prepared for how dark this book was. I thought it was going to be a fluffy new adult sports romance. I was definitely taken on a ride of my life. Kennedy Ryan is a phenomenal writer, and you can tell she does her research on her books because she handles difficult topics well. This is a very slow burn, but the story plot is so damn good that had it not had any spicy scenes in it that it would still be like a 10-star read.
This is a three-book series. I am on the second book right now, Block Shot. But Long Shot is probably one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life. This book will have you feeling all the emotions. If you ever need a good cry or feel like your life is shit, then read this book. It’ll help you find a new outlook and strength when fighting whatever demons you may be battling. I highly recommend this book, and if you haven’t read it. Then you are missing out. Also, Kennedy Ryan is an extremely nice person. I did a book shout-out on my Instagram account about this book, and she DM’d me, and this woman is so nice. So, I can’t wait to read more of her books.
A Spicy Book I Wish You Could Read For The First Time Again
This book was my first reverse harem or why choose romance that got me into the subcategory. It was probably the darkest books that I’ve ever read. It’s The Dancer and The Masks Duet by Bea Paige. Bea Paige is one of my all-time favorite authors; I’ve read many of her books. She’s a UK author and a phenomenal writer.
I wish I could re-read this book for the first time again because it’s so damn well-written, and the world, characters, and premise of the book is nothing like I’ve read before.
The story is about these filthy rich men who are raised like brothers and broken beyond repair. They are collectors of talented beings that they whore out to the rich and famous on an island. The book is suspenseful, paranormal, and extraordinary. It reminds me of Practical Magic meets Moulin Rogue or The Magicians meets the Greatest Showman.
I loved the book duet. I recommend this to anyone with no triggers who loves super dark paranormal romances with morally gray anti-heroes.
Also, the sex in all of Bea Paige’s books is top-tier. The spice is off the charts.
A Spicy Romance Book That Can Cure A Book Slump
The book that I swear will cure anyone’s book slump is Blindside by Kandi Steiner. It’s a Fake Dating Sports Romance about a star Football player and A College PR Intern. This story will make you laugh and cry. It’s a great romantic comedy with an excellent underlying message about the importance of being true to yourself and loving who you are, even if others don’t. I really enjoyed it. The sex in this book is phenomenal and they do it in some really hot places. I loved it. It was well-written, and the characters were well-developed. They are a couple that will have a piece of your heart by the end of the story.
A Spicy Romance Book Everyone Needs To Read
I got my monthly audible token and randomly chose this book based on the cover, the title, and listening to a sample of it. It’s Summer Proposal by Vi Keeland. I love love love this book. I usually only listen to slow burns, which is a moderate burn. Or just to have something to listen to on my car rides when I get bored of my usual podcast. And let me tell you, this book was so good. I couldn’t stop listening to it. I took it from my car ride and into my room and didn’t do anything but lay in my bed and listen to this book. I even was surprised by how much I loved it that I bought and read it on my Kindle, and it was just as impressive.
The Summer Proposal is a total rom-com about how she meets this random hottie in a bar while waiting for a blind date set up by her grandmother. He pretends to be this date until her real one shows up. He gives her his good luck charm and tickets to the hockey arena where he works, and she shows up and finds out he’s the star hockey player of one of the best teams in the NHL, and the story goes from there.
I love this book. It was extremely relatable to me. Georgia and her relationship with Gabriel were extremely relatable to me. I think it covers bases that many people will love, so that’s why I recommend it to a lot of people.
Also, be open-minded that not everyone is into monogamy and that ethical non-monogamous relationships, when done right, work. I love that this author sheds light on what we call ENMs in the sexual wellness community; although it's mishandled in this book, she shows that aspect of it.
A Spicy Book You Think Will Make A Good Movie
Tis The Season For Revenge by Morgan Elizabeth. I was looking for Christmas Books, and I literally googled rom-com-style Christmas books, and Google gave me this recommendation. Don’t let the cute Cartoon cover fool you guys. This book is spicy, spicy, spicy. It’s hot. It has light impact play, light bondage, and some dominant/submissive elements. You will hear often that it’s like Legally Blonde meets a Hallmark Christmas Movie. And it will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will make you have all the feelings. If you’ve ever tried to be the perfect partner for someone and they still told you that you weren’t good enough, then you will find a lot of healing in Abbie Keller’s story. So, this was a 5-star read for me, which is rare for me when it comes to Christmas books, but this book is so damn good. It’s a great story that happens to be set during Christmas.
A Spicy Romance Book I Wish Everyone Would Give A Shot
I’m recommending this book series, slash universe, even though it has all the fucking triggers in the world and then some. But the Forsyth U series by Samantha Rue and Angel Lawson has my heart. I live for this fucking series, and every time I read a book in it. It leaves me in a book hangover that has me like, omg. Omg. Omg. If I could write as well as these women, I’d die happy. The sex scenes will give you butterflies from your heart to your clit. You won’t know what’s beating faster, your heart upstairs or the spot downstairs.
The character development is insanity. You will feel like these characters are real, live human beings. The storyline will suck you in, the cliffhangers will drive you insane, and you’ll be coming back to each book like you need your next hit of cocaine. Forsyth U is a very dark, very bully college romance series. It’s an exciting premise because they’re college fraternities that are like the next leaders for these organized crime groups, and they’re all fighting to keep control of their turfs while being the most coveted fraternities at this prestigious college.
It’s a reverse harem or why choose romance. It starts with Story and her Lords and then Lavinia and her Dukes, and now I’m impatiently waiting for Verity and her Princes to come out next month.
This is an incredible book series that I’m obsessed with. If you haven’t already, definitely check it out.
A Spicy Romance Book I Will Never Forget
The Deal by Elle Kennedy. This book spoke to my soul, especially the broken parts of it.
My husband actually reminds me a lot of Garret Graham. Which fictional men can be a reality. You just have to know what you want, think you are worthy and deserve it, and don’t settle for anything less. Garett Graham should be on everyone’s book-boyfriend list if he isn’t already.
This man is top-tier. He Falls First, He Falls Fast, and He Falls Hard. He’s so obsessed with Hannah in this book that he’s willing to be her boyfriend-in-training until the one she’s been pining after comes along until he’s like, WTF, why am I doing this? And tells her she’s the one for him.
It’s a fake dating, a sports romance around hockey, and a college romance. It’s not super spicy, but it’s a great story. The Briar U universe Elle Kennedy creates is amazing, and I’m excited that she’s coming back with what I think is the next generation. She’s been remarkably cryptic about it. But I’m excited nonetheless.
I will say this book has triggers you definitely need to pay attention to. I thought it would be a light-hearted sports romance read, and it’s not.
This is one of the best books I’ve read my entire life, and I felt so seen when it came to Hannah’s story. It was unbelievable.
It's definitely worth all the hype it gets and deserves ten stars, honestly.
