Black Sexuality Educator And Activist
Clarissa Francis (pronouns: she/her/serenity/Dr), also known as The Real Hot Girl Doc, is a prominent figure in Black sexuality education and activism. Dr. Francis has dedicated her career to advancing the cause of Black women's sexual liberation and pleasure. In 2021, she launched a groundbreaking consulting program designed to empower Black sexuality professionals and those aspiring to embrace sexual liberation. In 2022, Dr. Francis self-published her debut book, "Phreak Like Me: Becoming The Real Hot Girl Doc," a poignant memoir that delves into her personal healing journey. In the same year, she unveiled an apparel line celebrating the core tenets of A Real HOT Girl Movement: body autonomy ("My Body"), sexual agency ("My Choice"), and pleasure ("My Pleasure"). Dr. Francis' ultimate mission is to challenge and dismantle oppressive systems, creating safe spaces where Black women can confront intergenerational trauma, reclaim control over their bodies, and wholeheartedly "Say Yes to (their) Serenity." Her offerings include workshops, training sessions, and consulting services on various topics related to Black sexual liberation, college peer education, pleasure activism, and the diverse facets of the Africana Diaspora and sexualities. Her dedication to the cause remains unwavering as she continues championing the rights and well-being of Black women, youth, and the broader community.

Dr. Jennifer Scott, PH.D.
Certified Sexuality Educator And Counselor
Jennifer Scott: Ph.D., MPH, CHES®, CSE is a public health professional specializing in comprehensive sex education for all ages. Known more casually as Dr. J., her approach to sex education centers around addressing questions many of us have but are too embarrassed to ask. Dr. J. completed the Sexual Health Certificate Program at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, earning a certificate in sexuality counseling and sexuality education. She received her Ph.D. in Health Studies/Community Health from Texas Woman's University in 2004. She also holds both an MPH and a BS from Indiana University.

Bre Tyner
Certified Sexologist and Sex-Positive Educator
Bre Tyner, a Certified Sexologist, sex-positive educator, and digital content creator, champions the mission of empowering women, queers, and people of color to lead pleasure-centered lives through her platform, Pleasure Craft Co. Having personally navigated a sexual healing journey in early adulthood to overcome shame related to her body and sexuality from a religious upbringing, Bre now helps others embrace their erotic selves, replace shame with pleasure, and address sexual issues and relationship concerns. As a black queer woman, she prioritizes providing safe spaces for underrepresented communities, recognizing their limited support and education on sexuality and pleasure. Bre is dedicated to helping women identify their desires, fostering healthy communication and intimacy in relationships, and being a strong voice and resource for the LGBTQ+ community. Her ultimate goal is to normalize sexuality without shame for everyone and serve as a guide for those on a sexual healing journey, believing that everyone, regardless of orientation or disposition, deserves pleasure-filled sex, healthy relationships, and the life they desire.

Jasmine Daniels, MPH

Jasmine Daniels earned her Master’s in Public Health from Florida A&M University in 2016 and has practiced as a Sexuality Educator for Over eight years! Throughout Jasmine’s career, she has listened to women struggling with the absence of orgasms and the frustrations that followed. In 2021, The Vagina Liberator was created to empower women to deepen their sensuality, identify their orgasms, and master their bodies through masturbation. By doing so, Jasmine has enrolled several women through her Intimacy Coaching program, where she coaches women to learn their Unique Intimacy Persona technique! Sexual Health Educator And Psychologist
Cheryl Joy is currently a board member of the Positive Sexuality Organization and Master of Sex Program; she is also a psychologist and a public speaker. She is the founder of #MyHappyVagina, an organization that aims at helping women understand their reproductive health, various birth control measures, and their effects. Cheryl holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Biochemistry. She has five years of experience in creating awareness of sexuality. Cheryl is passionate about mental health and providing quality care to postmortem mothers.

Tia Freeman
Sex Educator and Reproductive Justice Activist
Tia Freeman is a Sex Educator and Reproductive Justice Activist. She is the Content Creator for Slipp3ry When Wet, the multimedia-based Black sex education campaign. Tia Freeman sits on the Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi's Community Board (PPTNM). She is a lead for the PPTNM BIPOC Committee and a volunteer with PPTNM's Abortion Defense Action Council & Rapid Response Team. She is also an organizer and social media manager for Beyond Roe Collective, a Nashville-based Reproductive Justice organization.

Taylor Akers
Sexuality Educator And Sexologist
Taylor Akers is an emerging sexuality educator and has a long history working in sexual health education, including as an HIV Outreach and Engagement Specialist. During her four years at Indiana University Bloomington, she served as the President of the Sexual Health Advocacy Group (SHAG), a Peer Health and Wellness Educator (PHWE). She co-taught multiple sexual health undergraduate courses as a Peer Instructor. She also designed her individualized degree, Sexual Health Education and Promotion, and is working towards becoming an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator. Taylor is a small business owner of Sex to the T, LLC, where she plans to create luxury adult pleasure products and a private-label condom and lube brand. Taylor currently works at Global Protection Corp, a world-leading condom, lubricant, and sexual health manufacturer, as a Marketing, Sales, and Project Coordinator.

Dr. Ashley Townes, PHD
Epidemiologist, Sexuality Educator & Researcher
Dr. Ashley Townes is a sexuality educator and researcher based in Atlanta, GA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Master of Public Health in Community Education degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She later earned a Ph.D. in Health Behavior and Epidemiology from Indiana University-Bloomington. Dr. Townes has 13 years of experience providing sexuality education in various academic and public health entities. She has worked as an Epidemiologist and currently serves in a postdoctoral research role. Her research focuses on Black women’s sexual experiences and access to sexuality information and health services.
She is a blog contributor for Pure Romance and has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Psychology Today, Madame Noire, MindBodyGreen, Woman’s Day, various podcasts, and MTV News.
Christine DeLozier, L.Ac
Sexual Health Educator And Author
Christine DeLozier. L.Ac is the author of the book Diet for Great Sex: Food for Male and Female Sexual Health. Her book has been featured in The Daily Mail, The Sun (UK), on CBS, and she has offered expert commentary for The Huffington Post, Marie Claire, and Good Housekeeping. She has been the host of a Chaturbate live-streamed show, Cooking for Sex. Christine is a licensed acupuncturist specializing in sexual health. Christine DeLozier holds Master’s degrees in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
